As most know, the Opti has many spar configurations to choose from depending on sailors, weight, height and sailing abilities.
This is what Optimax Spars recommends for sailor weights and spar assignments for the sailor

For the most part, The MK3 mast, 40 mm boom, Hyperflex sprit for the lighter weight sailors( under 80lbs) and the MK4 mast, 45 mm boom, MK3/MK4 sprit I for the heavier sailors ( 85 lbs and up) is the most popular configurations on the east coats and down island with minor tweaks depending the YC the sailor belongs to. The 48mm MK5 Boom since is becoming popular on the west coast and with the heavier sailors but the MK4 boom is still the standard go to for sailors above 85 lbs
The 40mm MK3 boom( under 80ish LBs) and the 45mm Mk4 boom ( above 85ish LBs) are by far the most popular
